Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Evolve7 LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use the AuraMint mobile application (the "App"). By using AuraMint, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Who We Are

AuraMint is a SAT preparation application developed and operated by Evolve7 LLC, a limited liability company incorporated in the United States. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at admin@evolve7.org.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

• Account information: Your name, email address, and profile photo when you create an account using Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google, or email with a one-time passcode (OTP).
• Profile details: Optional information you add, including date of birth, gender, target SAT score, and exam date.
• Username: A unique handle you set to connect with friends.

2.2 Information Generated by Your Use

• Study activity: Quiz attempts, exam results, questions answered, accuracy rates, topics studied, and time spent studying.
• Progress data: SAT preparation progress, score trends, weak topic identification, and study streaks.
• Rewards: XP points, gems earned or spent, and badges unlocked.
• Social activity: Who you follow and who follows you within the App.
• Study reminders: Your preferred notification times and days.
• Notification preferences: Which types of in-app and push notifications you have enabled.

2.3 Information Collected Automatically

• Device information: Device type, operating system, and app version.
• Push notification token: A device-specific token used to deliver push notifications through Expo's notification service. Collected only if you grant notification permission.
• Crash and error reports: Technical information collected via Sentry to help us fix bugs.
• Subscription information: Your subscription status, plan, and purchase history, managed through RevenueCat. Payments are processed entirely by Apple or Google — we never receive or store your payment card details.

2.4 Camera and Images

The App may request access to your camera or photo library to scan math or reading questions using the Scan feature. Images captured for this purpose are sent to OpenAI's API for analysis and are not stored on our servers after a response is returned. Photos you upload as a profile picture are stored in our cloud storage and displayed on your profile.

You may deny camera or photo library permissions at any time in your device settings. The Scan feature will be unavailable if camera access is denied.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide the App and its features, including quizzes, mock exams, streak tracking, the study planner, and the Scan-to-Solve feature.
• Personalize your experience, such as identifying weak topics, generating study recommendations, and displaying your progress.
• Send notifications, including study reminders, streak alerts, and product updates, subject to your preferences.
• Enable social features, including finding friends by username and displaying follower/following relationships.
• Improve the App by analyzing usage patterns, fixing bugs, and developing new features.
• Ensure security, including detecting and preventing fraud and unauthorized access.
• Comply with legal obligations.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only in the following circumstances.

Your profile photo, display name, username, current streak, and XP level are visible to other authenticated AuraMint users when they search for you or view your public profile.

4.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.

4.4 Business Transfers

If Evolve7 LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law. Aggregated, anonymized data may be retained indefinitely for analytics.

6. Your Rights and Choices

6.1 Access and Correction

You can view and update your profile information at any time from the My Profile screen in the App.

6.2 Notification Preferences

You can manage all push notification preferences from Profile → Settings → Notifications.

6.3 Camera and Photo Access

You can revoke camera or photo library access at any time via your device's Settings app.

6.4 Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Profile → Settings → Privacy & Security → Delete Account. Deletion requests are processed immediately and completed within 30 days.

6.5 California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, delete your personal information, and opt out of the sale of your personal information (we do not sell your data). We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. Contact us at admin@evolve7.org.

7. Children's Privacy

AuraMint is intended for users 13 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will delete that information promptly. Contact us at admin@evolve7.org if you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (TLS), row-level security policies in our database, and server-side authentication. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, by sending a notice within the App or to your registered email address. Your continued use of the App after the effective date of the updated policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
